Atlantic Ballet Theatre Canada Celebrates Courage

10/05/2016

Atlantic Ballet Theatre of Canada is using a $20,000 grant from Medavie Health Foundation to bring its Celebrate Courage program highlighting intimate partner violence to rural and urban communities in Atlantic Canada.

Celebrate Courage brings together youth for a powerful presentation of Ghosts of Violence, an award-winning theatrical performance that tells the story of four young women affected by dating violence.

The educational campaign targets middle-and high school-aged students, including at-risk youth. This is the second year the Foundation has supported this program, bringing our total funding to $40,000.
